1) Who We Are

Welcome to howtostudygerman.com (the “Site”).
All digital products (eBooks, quizzes, AI tools, and other online resources) are provided by:

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2) Products Overview

We provide digital German-learning resources, including but not limited to:

• eBooks (PDF downloads)
• Premium quizzes (delivered online via the Site, once launched)

No physical goods are sold. No tutoring or private lessons are offered through this Site.

3) Digital Products

This section applies to all digital products provided by How To Study German LLC.

3.1 eBooks 

• Delivery: eBooks are delivered as PDF files via secure download link and/or email immediately after successful purchase.
• License: Purchases grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for private, non-commercial use. Sharing, reselling, uploading, or redistributing the file is strictly prohibited.
• Withdrawal: By purchasing digital content for immediate download, you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day withdrawal right once the download begins.
• Refunds: Refunds are not available once access has been granted, except if the file is defective or inaccessible. In that case, we will assist with re-delivery.

3.2 Premium Quizzes (planned; not yet available)

• This section will apply once premium quizzes are launched.
• Premium quizzes are provided as an online digital service delivered via our website.
• You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, provided you have not started using the quizzes.
• If you withdraw before starting use, we will refund the full purchase price.
• If you withdraw after starting use, you may be entitled to a partial refund (pro rata). The refund will be calculated based on the proportion of the service already used. For example, if 25% of the access period has passed or 25% of the content has been completed, we may deduct 25% of the purchase price and refund the remainder.

4) Payments, Taxes & Invoicing

• Payments for digital products are securely processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record.
• Paddle is responsible for billing, invoicing, and collection of applicable taxes (including VAT/GST).
• Your payment statement may show “PADDLE” or a similar descriptor.

5) Acceptable Use

• Use the Site lawfully and respectfully.
• Do not attempt to hack, scrape, or bypass security measures.
• Do not use our products for commercial redistribution without written permission.

6) Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (including text, graphics, files, quizzes) is owned by or licensed to How To Study German LLC and protected by applicable IP laws. Except as expressly allowed, no rights are granted.

7) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available”.
• We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or exam results.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

8) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, the laws of the State of Wyoming (where How To Study German LLC is registered).
• Venue: Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Wyoming, USA.
• Consumer Rights: Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.

9) Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on the Site with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
