A. Online Private German Lessons

• Booking and Cancellation: Lessons take place through Skype, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams. You may cancel a lesson without charge if cancellation is made at least 12 hours before the lesson starts. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the lesson start time will be charged in full.
• Lesson Duration and Conduct: A standard lesson lasts 55 minutes. Each private lesson is scheduled for the agreed duration upon booking.

B. Online Trial Lesson

• Eligibility: The trial lesson is available at a reduced price and only for new students who have never taken a lesson with us before.
• Lesson Duration: The trial lesson lasts 30 minutes.
• Booking and Cancellation: The trial lesson can be booked only once per student. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the start time will be charged in full.

C. German Online Quizzes for Grammar and Vocabulary

• Quizzes: We offer free quizzes for practicing German grammar and vocabulary. Registration is required to access these quizzes.
• Usage Restrictions: It is not permitted to use the quizzes for commercial purposes or copy the quiz content.

D. Short Stories and Reading Practice

• Reading Material: We provide short stories to help students practice reading. Some stories include quiz questions for deeper engagement.
• Registration: Registration is required to access quiz questions linked to these stories.

E. Learn German with AI (Beta)

• AI Tools in Beta: Our AI features are in Beta, meaning they are still in development and subject to changes.
• Technology: The AI tools are powered by ChatGPT 4 with additional training data to improve German language support.
• User Accounts: Users may not create multiple accounts to access AI tools.

2. Terms of Use

• Access and Use: By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use, all applicable laws, and regulations. You are responsible for compliance with local laws.
• License: You may use materials from howtostudygerman.com for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not transfer ownership. You may not:
